What is Epicatechin?
Epicatechin is a naturally occurring plant compound (flavanol) found in green tea, dark chocolate, grapes, and apples. It is best known for its antioxidant properties and its unique ability to influence muscle growth regulators in the body.

Our formula delivers 300 mg of epicatechin per capsule  90% pure epicatechin from green tea extract — one of the most concentrated forms available.

How Can Epicatechin Support Your Fitness Goals?

  1. Helps Unlock Muscle Growth Potential

    • Myostatin is a protein that naturally limits muscle growth.

    • Epicatechin has been shown in studies to help reduce myostatin levels while increasing follistatin, a protein that blocks myostatin’s effects.

    • In one human study, older adults supplementing with epicatechin experienced increased grip strength and improved follistatin/myostatin ratios after just 7 days.

  2. Supports Blood Flow & Nutrient Delivery

    • Epicatechin boosts nitric oxide production, which relaxes blood vessels and supports better circulation.

    • Improved blood flow means more oxygen and nutrients delivered to working muscles, potentially enhancing recovery and performance.

  3. Promotes Mitochondrial Function

    • Mitochondria are your cells’ “energy factories.”

    • Research shows epicatechin can help stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis (the creation of new mitochondria), which may improve endurance and energy levels during workouts.

  4. Potential Role in Muscle Preservation

    • A 2024 systematic review highlighted epicatechin’s potential to help counteract muscle loss (atrophy) in various conditions, making it appealing not just for athletes but also for those looking to maintain muscle as they age.
